The return from Orlando...

I returned last night from the ACPA/NASPA conference down in Orlando. The flight was fine, except that it left 3 hours later than it was supposed to, so I got home to Jersey City around 2:30am in the morning. No fun there! But, the flight was uneventful, so that's okay...

Here's a photolog of my experiences...

The line for registration. It looks long, and it was, but it actually moved pretty quickly...
Daniel and Brian, two friends from my work years at Dartmouth, we went out with Fu and Krista (pictured below) on Friday, the first night there...

We went to eat at a place in Downtown Celebration, a town that's been built to house Disney workers, from what I was told...

Fu really doesn't have buck teeth, although this photo may lead to to believe that...

I was actually down there to work, not just to eat with friends. Here's the table we had for Saint Peter's, where I (and my Director) interview prospective candidates to work in Residence Life at the college. It was a good area, very comfortable for interviewing...
I didn't really expect to see livestock outside of my hotel window, but life is full of surprises...

I thought this was a pretty evening sky.

The stage for Al Gore's presentation, from my seat, which Fu and Krista kindly saved for me...

The happy couple!

And to prove I was there, here I am, looking semi-professional! And more hairless than I actually am!

Al Gore, on the video screen right in front of us. If you haven't seen "An Inconvenient Truth" yet, you should! I haven't, but now that I saw Gore's presentation, I know all the relevant information. Watch it, and be educated...

On the phone, talking to Sue... See, there is hair up there!

A crowd from Dartmouth at the social...
That's where I'll leave this for now. Over the weekend, I'll write up more about the content and actual stuff I did at the conference.
